The famous actor Jim Carrey, who was liked for his parts in films like Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and The Truman Show, said he would stop acting in 2022. But in a shocking turn of events, Carrey has said that he’s no longer retired, and he has a simple reason for it.
Carrey chose to go back to acting for one easy reason: he needs the money. In a recent interview, Carrey joked that what he said at first about quitting might not have been true. He said that he spent a lot of money and needs to pay it back, which is why he’s playing Dr. Robotnik again in the new Sonic the Hedgehog movie.
Fans are thrilled that Carrey is back in the acting business and can’t wait to see him play his famous part again. The movie will come out in the US on December 20, 2024.
As an interesting side note, Carrey had originally said that he would only act again if an angel brought him a script written in gold ink. It looks like this condition wasn’t met, though, as Carrey has now decided to go back to acting for more practical reasons.
